About this blog
THIS IS NO LONGER MY MAIN BLOG AND NO MORE ARTICLES WILL BE ADDED. MY NEW BLOG IS: thelearningplanet.wordpress.com
I’m Bridget McKenzie, director of Flow Associates, a consultancy working for museums, arts, science and educational organisations. We help these organisations with digital, learning and outreach strategies.
This is my main personal blog, and it’s for articles, tweets, delicious links, links to my other blogs, my photography, my news about Flow and my colleagues, and a few other things. It’s my work-life-brain stream.
My interests cover four main areas:
- The interpretation of cultural collections and heritage sites
- Culture, creativity and innovation in education, especially but not exclusively, for schools and children
- The potential for digital media and the internet for increasing access to culture and knowledge
- The importance of ecology and the need to adapt to global climate disruption
This last interest is increasingly important for me, so I now spend quite a bit of time blogging at Climate Action in Culture and Heritage. This is a new blog, open to co-authors, in the hope of building up a network of like-minded practitioners. It includes a Framework for Climate Action which I would like to develop with others.
